It would be great to see an additional section in the single event pages for Attendees.
Additionnally, in this "Who Is Going" section, there would be two horizontal tabs : JonSmith Attendees (custom text) | Facebook attendees
We could find the number of attendees between parenthesis right after the headers. The Facebook section would of course appear only if the event is linked to a Facebook event.
Inspiration came from a competitor, Wantickets, see here the last section : http://www.wantickets.com/Events/ShowEvent.aspx?eventId=156513
I think it's key for the user to be able to RSVP to a corresponding event on Facebook. I know Events+ has this ability and believe Event Espresso does as well. It seems to be the only key feature you guys are missing.38 votes
it would be great if we could set an Organizer for each feed. This way I could aggregate calendars from several sources while crediting those sources.
Thanks for your time!32 votes
I purchased the Import Facebook events plug in and was shocked to find it doesn't import the "Get Tickets" link from the Facebook event, according to this forum.
This is a major disappointment, IMHO. This function should be added or else the lack of this function should be disclosed in the plug in description. It defeats the purpose of this plug in.
The whole idea of the plug in is to support automation and prevent duplicate data entry. Yet, I have to enter the link to buy tickets manually on my WP site for each event? Doesn't make any sense.31 votes
Include the option to set when the daily, weekly..., are actually imported.
Then you can grab and import events at a preferred time during the day. Early morning and review each day, end of day to grab all new entries, etc.15 votes
Cool idea. Let’s see if more people are interested in this.
I am quite surprised this feature has not been included in a prior iCal Importer update or the release of Event Aggregator.
Can Event Aggregator import the attached image in Google Calendar and use it as the event image for Wordpress? I know this can be done as some other platforms already do this.
I have hundreds of events on my calendar, and adding an image to every single one is not an option.
Thank you!12 votes
Sounds like an idea that would be well received in the community. Let’s get some more votes for this.
Do automatic/scheduled imports from an individual Facebook profile11 votes
We cannot currently import multiple events at once from an individual due to the Facebook API. However, we are exploring how to allow users to at least bulk imports events from their own profiles via our new Event Aggregator service.
Now we can pick one category when using the aggregator, but in our calendar it's possible that a certain event belongs in more categories.
This means I still have to do this manually to complete the event. Also I miss the option to activate tags. For this the same as with the categories it's handy when we could fill out more then one tag.11 votes
I have added a URL in twice as Facebook schedule. I forgot I was importing from that Facebook page already.
If it could check the main URL (excluding any attributes such as ?fref=pb&hc_location=profile_browser as an example ) or at least have a search box to filter imports by name it would clear up this slight issue.7 votes
Thanks for submitting this. Indeed this would be a useful addition. Let’s see if it gets more votes.
Eventbrite Aggregator same as your Facebook allowing to import all events from eventbrite by category and city6 votes
That’s definietly an interesting idea. Hope to see more votes on this! Cheers.
A setting tab setting in events aggregator that allows entering sites who also have ECP installed. Digest events similar to the current Events Aggregator.6 votespartial solution provided · AdminModern Tribe (Admin, The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe) responded
This is partially possible. Go to the month view of the calendar you want to import. Go to the bottom and copy the target link from the “Export the month’s events” button.
Should be something like this:
On the site where you want to import go to import > iCalendar, and paste in the url. For start date select what you need. Hit preview and you’ll see the events. Now you just need to select the ones you need and import them.
Hope this helps!
We used to be able to import a list of single facebook events. Now we have to go through 3 steps for each one. A pain if you have 20 events to import. The whole purpose of Aggregator is to make things easier, not harder than in previous versions.6 votes
We have many bands and many events, so we found the Event Aggregator a useful tool for automatically populating our website calendar from Google Calendar. However, there often is a shifting of bands from location to location, or cancellations at the last minute. However, if a band is removed from the Google calendar, it is not removed in tribe_events during the next scheduled import. Would love to see a feature that truly updates the event list and removes deleted events during each scheduled import. It would also be nice for the aggregator to highlight events that seem similar to each other so that we can go in and either delete the event, or allow the similar events to be published.

Thanks for your suggestion. Indeed, this would be an awesome feature. If the idea gets more votes we will definitely look into this.
Option to import events every 4 hours. Daily isn't often enough and every hour is overkill.5 votes
Allow the Aggregator to extract all Eventbrite events4 votes
We have multisite environment and use iCAL importer to import subsite event information into master domain. At this time event image or featured images are not imported. This is very useful and important feature to have. I am sure other iCAL users will like to have it.4 votes
Currently, when you import a facebook event url, you can only select ONE category choice. We then have to re-open the event after and select other categories. Its a huge waste of time. If you are doing multiple events, you ofter forget to go back and fix it later.3 votes
If the site from which I import events is in a different time zone, I cannot currently reset those events to be in my timezone when they are imported. Might it be possible to have a field on the import (like category but to alter rather than add) for time zone? At the moment, events from this source are coming in with weird dates. I cna see this is because they are all "all day" events which gets confused when the time zone is different and is changing the event to be spread over two days instead of the original one day. The note you provide on the screen is very helpful by the way - but might it be possible to introduce a feature to override the timezone? Thanks!

It would be great if you could filter facebook events by country.
Aka if I only want events located in Australia, or Australia and New Zealand to import from facebook.
Would be happy for it to be one country, but multiple shouldn't be too much more work code wise and would make people super happy! ;-)2 votes
Prevent event aggregator from loading images when importing events from facebook !
It would be great if there is a choice if facebook images are imported or not. Because of the copyright law there are many situations where one would like to import the event but NOT the image!
At the moment the only possibility is to delete the images after the import by oneself. Depending on the import settings the images are imported again when imports from facebook are updated etc....2 votes
This is a great feature request! I do hope it gets more votes!
