Allow manual entry of attendee information
I'd like to be able to go into the backend and manually add an attendee to the list.

This plugin could really use a back-end POS not unlike the (seemingly abandoned) Woocommerce POS, only with more specialized compatibility with the additional Event Tickets features. I sell tickets out of the store that runs my events (as well as online, obviously), and I'd really like my in-store sales represented in my online inventory and "who's attending" sections. Unfortunately, plugins designed to integrate Woocommerce with existing POS systems are never going to be able to differentiate between tickets for past events and tickets for future events, nor will they ever be able to collect the same data from customers that I collect online and relay it to the Events Calendar seamlessly. It would be great to have a POS interface on the back-end that my staff can use to process in-store sales using all the same technology that Event Tickets Plus already offers.

There are a few calls to allow admins to edit the "Additional Information" collected during ticket purchase however, the feature request appears to be locked pending additional clarification. I think that the clarification is present but there can be no further up votes for the feature as it appears to be locked.
The need is to allow admins to edit the "Additional Information" that is collected before tickets are added to the cart.
The scenario is:
<li>User sets ticket quantity</li>
<li>Users enters ticket information (All or partial)</li>
<li>User adds to cart, pays</li>
<li>User emails/contacts admin says "Help me out, change the details on the ticket"</li>
<li>Admins visits backend of site to make amendment to customers ticket</li>
<li>Locates ticket in list</li>
<li>Expands details of ticket</li>
<li>Presses 'edit' to adjust value</li>
<li>Clicks 'update' to replace value in database</li>

I'd like to call for this - Many attendees don't have all the information for all the tickets and I don't want to put up any barriers to them placing orders.
I appreciate that attendees change amend names on their tickets, but admins can do everything else, but not amend an attendee name - please make this change!

Need this please, admins need to be able to add/edit this information after the order has been placed. We run events where we need add tours or workshops information after the sale of tickets has started, so those who have already placed tickets will often ring or email additional information to us.
will someone please get back to me as to where this in office payment is located. thank youj.
so I sell tickets both at events and online for my up coming events. I am just finding there is no way to add a ticket with out charging the customer directly on my site. What a flaw.... I was using Event Espresso before and they did have what we needed in regards to the basics. Please let me know your plans on adding a method to either add people or if you have a time line as to when you will add this as a basic function.

This would be great.
Admins might also need to have metadata on attendees not available to them. This can be helpful for subgroups, filtering criteria for mailing, eg. send mails to attendees that didn't RSVP the last X events.
Option 1 for me

I worked with Christian on this idea. What I have in mind is the first user story. Editing those fields in a way that makes sense makes sure admins can export the information for use at the event.
yes it would be great for manual reservation !
yes it's needed to correct errors made by the users

Thanks for setting this up, Christian. This seems critical for admins.

Allow admins to edit the collected meta-information for attendees. An attendee might e.g. want to select a different type of meal after ordering the ticket, and when the tickets are sold to guest users they can't log in to change it themselves.
Good afternoon: This is easy to solve, we have created a form of payment is called PAYMENT IN OUR OFFICES we have previously created in WooCommerce.
Yes, yes, yes!!!
Some of our customers choose not to use our website so they call or stop in to to get tickets and often with cash or check. We sometimes give tickets for free as well. Allowing manual entry of attendees will make it easier to have one master attendee list and therefore make the plugin much more useful. It seems like this would be critical for may organizations like ours.
I see that this says it needs more votes. I've come across a significant number of requests in the forum for a similar functionality. Those should be counted as "votes" too. :-)
