Have both Purchase Fields and Ticket fields

Allow for a set of fields for the collection of tickets purchase, as well as a set of fields for each ticket. Especially helpful for business or parent information when bulk purchase of tickets is made for multiple employees or children.

    This is an intriguing idea. Could you clarify a few things so that we can know exactly what you want?

    Are you using RSVPs, Tickets, or both?

    With purchasable Tickets you can add multiple tickets at once to the cart. A user can then continue shopping, adding more tickets from different events to their cart, all before checking out.

    With the above in mind, are you trying to collect information solely about the purchaser, even if that purchaser is purchasing tickets for multiple events at once? If so, this is already possible. When someone checks out they have to fill in a few fields about themselves, and through third party addons like this one it is possible to customize what fields they must fill out.

        Basically if you make this fix for RSVP it will cover the ticket as well. It is understood that collecting of full information can be collected on checkout process of ticket buying and there is a work around for it, but nothing exist for additional info for RSVP for 1 point of contact. Implement asap!

        That is very true. Hence our interest in finding out exactly what is being suggested. If this is specific to RSVPs we can rewrite it for RSVPs.

        But before we edit Josef's feature request and make it specific to RSVPs, we wanted to clearly understand what is being requested.

        That work around doesn't apply for RSVPs. RSVPs custom fieldset for POC only should be implemented.

        Right now we cannot set custom fieldsets to collect information for the ticket buyer only. Which absolutely makes no sense for a complete event ticketing solution. We need the ability to collect necessary information for the person setting the RSVP or buying a ticket.

        Currently the custom ticket fieldsets feature only works for collecting additional info for multiple ticket holders. Which means if you want to collect a phone number for a ticket buyer who is purchasing 10 tickets, the fieldsets will appear 10 times on the screen and you have to input all the fields for every ticket.

        I believe collecting additional info for just the ticket buyer is a simple basic feature any RSVP or Ticketing system should have. We do not always need the information for all ticket holders.
