Community Events: Allow anonymous event submission form to collect contact details
This seems to have come up a couple of times before but never really got anywhere. So I'm going to try it again.
Currently the options seem to allow:
- Existing registered WordPress users to submit events
- Completely anonymous events with no contact details at all
My use case is: I want people to submit events that will be moderated by an admin. In some cases the admin may want to contact the submitter about their event before publishing.
It seems like an obvious omission to me that a form that submits content to a site does not collect information about the person submitting it. Can these fields be added - maybe optionally - to the community events form?
