PLease add this feature
I have looked and noticed many many people asking for the feature of a short code to be used for the community event & community tickets plugin.
I think this would be a great addition as would solve many issues that people are having..
The problem I am having is that I have different membership levels on my website. The option for members to add their own events is only valid on a higher level subscription.. however I can hide a page which is visible using access roles.. yet if someone knows the link to the community event page I.e add an event or my events, there's nothing stopping them from pasting that link into a new page and submitting an event without being subscribed to a higher level role with that access (which only hides the page when logged in).
What I could do is add a short code into a new page I create and then have the ability to restrict that page itself. Because I can't add this form as a short code to a newly created page where I can apply ristrictions I am unable to truly stop people with any level to access the add an event page and start listing events.
This option should be a must especially as it's a higher feature as part of the events calendar.
Please advise at the earliest.
Thank you for your help.
I'm looking forward to this. It is superhandy to create a page with an instruction-video following with the shortcode for adding an event by third party. That way we don't have to do instruction on one page and link it to a different add-event-page. On one page together it would be best for front end adding in our local community.
Is there any update/outlook on this? Really need a shortcode for this. Thanks.

Really need to customize this page.
1. Control what content is above or below
2. Use Yoast to change page description and name
3. Set which sidebar is shown
4. Which theme page template it used. Avada defaults to double sidebar page :(
Yes please. Its a must that all pages have similar look on the website. These pages really stand out in a negative way now.
THIS needs to happen, please. With Page Builders now dominating the development landscape not being able to customise the submission page by dropping in this form is surprising it is not available.
Pretty please add a shortcode for the Community Event submission form so I can add instructions.
Changing templates is messy and will not be cohesive with my other pages. I use the Divi Builder, which does not nicely translate to php.
Please add this! I need to customize my submissions page to work with a specific url. This would be so helpful and ideal.
Please add this feature. It would make the plugin so much more flexible and help us to keep the look and feel of the site cohesive throughout. x 100000 :)

This is regarding the main event view (https://example.com/events). This would be an optional layout configured within Community settings.
For logged in users, default showing sidebar with their community events (My Events), and button to add additional events, with way to edit events in My Events.
For non-logged in users, default showing full width main, with Community Events button (or similar) to show or hide sidebar.
For any users allow sidebar to be hidden, giving full width to main view (e.g., Month events).
my vote on this too - and a shortcode to embed the MyEvents list. I have been waiting years for these things - why are there so few new features for the Community Events plug-in?

I totally agree. Having shortcodes for community events to add them to the Woo Account page would be great! Shortcodes all the way!

With the new update, this is the final missing piece to the shortcode puzzle!

I have to say, Im quite surprised by this one. You already have the default shortcodes - they're just disabled if you have pretty permalinks enabled!
It would be great to have a shortcode for the list of a user's events, so we can integrate it as part of the "User Panel" (which for us at least, includes woocommerce purchases, profile information, and other user submitted content by various plugins - only TEC is missing!
Definitely need a shortcode for the event submission form and the "my events" list for users!

I need to embed the submission form to a page to protect the content for different membership levels.
Thanks for the suggestion. We are first working on getting shortcodes for all the calendar views and then as this gets more votes we can circle back to look into this.
I have been able to add some preamble text to the community events submission form "page" thanks to your excellent technical support--however it would be so much easier to maintain/update this text if the form could simply to added to a WP page with a shortcode.
