Import "Get Tickets" link from Facebook event posts
I purchased Events Aggregator and was shocked to find it doesn't import the "Get Tickets" link from the Facebook event, according to this forum.
This is a major disappointment, IMHO. This function should be added or else the lack of this function should be disclosed in the plug in description. It defeats the purpose of this plug in.
The whole idea of the plug in is to support automation and prevent duplicate data entry. Yet, I have to enter the link to buy tickets manually on my WP site for each event? Doesn't make any sense.
Due to recent changes in Facebook’s API, Event Aggregator can no longer import from Facebook. Sadly, there is nothing we can do about this unless they change their policies. And thus we also can’t pursue any Facebook-related feature requests. You can read more here: http://m.tri.be/1a5x

Adding this feature would save me hours every week. I have to agree that this seems like an oversight and should be mentioned in the plugin description.

The Facebook Events calendars have become very important to many types of venues. Importing the ticket_uri field value would seem to be a no-brainer for those that don't want to sell tickets on their own site and use a third-party ticket vendor.
Yes, our clients want the Facebook ticket link to import into the website event.

This would be a HUGE improvement for my client's site, as they are pulling in events from a number of other organizations, but do not actually sell the tickets, each organization does this.

it is possible to get this link from Facebook as i use it on a different site that we custom built . so lets vote to have it done as it is a great feature.

I agree. This feature is very important. Is there a workaround?
I really need this function! maybe Modern Tribe can provide a code or a solution to fix this?
I need this as well!
Modern Tribe please have this as an option for next update or please share how I can tell my developer to fix this.
Agreed! Not all sites that would use the plugin are responsible for selling the tickets and therefore would not purchase or need the eventbrite ticketing feature that I am sure tribe wants you to purchase in order to have a ticketing link. (For example, a local community site may list the event and need to provide ticket info but that site is not the entity selling the tickets)
