Synchronize Event Categories and Woocommerce Product Categories for Event Tickets items
Add ability to map Event categories to Product categories so that when new tickets are added to an Event, they will automatically be added to a specific product category as well. This is most useful in cases of defining discount and coupon rules, to allow certain types of events to have coupon codes apply without requiring manual editing of ticket products after creation. Alternatively, provide a "Categories" selection box to the Ticket creation form, instead of automatic synchronization.
This would be very useful. The ticket creation process is not the most streamlined to start with so having to then go into the WooCommerce products and update them also makes for very time-consuming work (the reason we digitalised our booking system was to make it more efficient!).
Even having the option to sync the two, rather than it being the default, would be very useful.
We run four main types of training. Training is over multiple days but tickets can be purchased for individual days. As a result, each event has around 5 tickets, and we are running 3-4 events every week (so generating around 15-20 "products" each week). As it stands we don't have the manpower to reliably assign the appropriate product categories to each and every ticket, meaning that we are unable to issue coupons relating to specific event/ticket types, which would be really useful. This feature would make it possible with no additional work required.
In the ticket definition section, allow direct access to set some of the WooCommerce Product metadata.
For example, we use the product category to set discounts via WooCommerce Memberships. However, we are forced to go into the WooCommerce product (ticket) that is auto-defined and set the product category as needed. It would be much easier to do this from within the ticket definition section of the event itself.

yes, it would be great for discount, because we have to put a category in woocommerce for the product too. too many time to categorise all !!!
