Allow ics export for entire calendar year
We publish an annual planning calendar and would like to duplicate it online. It would be really helpful if there were a way for our users to export a calendar year's worth of events at a time. Or better, a way to specify a date-range for exporting. I realize that a large date-range (perhaps even a year) would create a lot of entries, but for planning purposes, that's what users require. Asking them to export month-by-month seems a little cumbersome.
Check out our extension which allows you do do various kinds of advanced exports :) https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/advanced-ical-export/

I would like this as a full rolling year or even allow the user to define the number of previous days and number of future days. Maybe another parameter in the link?

either do a full rolling year or have it as a customizable field for the number of months. I did see in a support forum some code to support a year's change, but every plug-in upgrade would overwrite this code. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/syncing-google-calendar-with-events-calendar/
I definitely need to export a year at a time. Would like to be able to set a date range and get the file. A month at a time is a pain for the user. Seems like a needless limitation.
The best way is to implement a direct link like the one implemented by google when you want to share a public calendar. This would get updated automatically with all changes like suggested by someone below as RSS feed and there won't be a need to download any ics files...

I think RSS feed would be better so changed events get immediately reflected on users' calendars.
I agree that the need to export .ics files for the entire calendar category range is our base functionality of our website's event calendar! We generate the .ics urls and feed them into our mobile app so the specific categories of calendars will display there. Not having this feature is the only reason we are not buying this plugin. Very disappointing as the functionality obviously somewhat exists with the singular month export button. Month by month exports are very cumbersome for a user and also give the false impression they've downloaded the calendar when in fact they have not.
I need this so much!

Many of my users would like the option to export ALL events to an ICS file, so they can add to their personal calendar. Currently there is functionality to do this month by month, but most users don't have the patience to go through each month. Effectively this would allow users to export one file, and have all events in one place.
