Season Pass (for a theatre or concert venue). It would be great to sell a Season pass good for admission to a series of plays. For example: if I have 8 shows in a year-long season... I want to sell a pass good for a single admission to each show.1 vote
In Support on website, tech docs have more depreciated functions than current one.
Please provide a fitlered list on only acitve functions.
Whenever I get an idea to develop something with Events Calendar I have to page through endlessly to find and learn about what functions could assist me.2 votes
We add tickets to pages for our shows, instead of adding tickets to an event in the calendar. When we do this, it's not easy to add an element below the tickets section on the page. Would like to be able to add page elements below the tickets section easily from the WordPress "Edit Page" screen. But Event Tickets Plus forces the tickets section to be at the bottom of the page.1 vote
I am quite surprised this feature has not been included in a prior iCal Importer update or the release of Event Aggregator.
Can Event Aggregator import the attached image in Google Calendar and use it as the event image for Wordpress? I know this can be done as some other platforms already do this.
I have hundreds of events on my calendar, and adding an image to every single one is not an option.
Thank you!13 votes
Sounds like an idea that would be well received in the community. Let’s get some more votes for this.
Right now, the standard fields for sending the RSVP confirmation are only really editable through going into the php. It would be great to at least have the verbiage of this area to be easily customizable (changing "Send RSVP Confirmation to:" to "Going? RSVP Now", "Full Name" to "Your Name," etc.)
It would also be nice to have the ability to add multiple email address fields, in case one wants the confirmation to be emailed to multiple people1 vote
It can be useful making optional this selection, i can't understand why a user need to register for an event without going to it.1 vote
I want to be able to feature specific events in the main loop without displaying all events on the homepage.5 votes
Sounds like a great idea. Would love to see votes on this.
As we offer many events for kids (e.g. ski lessons) it is mandatory to receive the kid's birth date. If we just add a text field, we get different date formats and can't use them for further planing in Excel.12 votes
That’s a cool idea! I hope it gets more votes.
I think it's necessary have a feature to limit the number of RSVP registrations that a single user can do. It can be useful both with mandatory logging for RSVP registration and with guest users. It doesn't make sense that a single user can register more than one reservation.1 vote
As a new user I find it very hard to relate the knowledgebase tutorials to what the calendar will look like. There are lots of different views but how to know which view is which? Showing examples of what is possible and relating these to the showcase for example would make it a lot simpler to understand what is possible.1 vote
There is no way to edit an venue when viewing it, unlike editing an event. This seems to be a smple omission. Please correct it.1 vote
The ability to save "ticket fieldsets" for re-use is a great time-saver. However, I find myself wanting to have more options for field types and validation options.
1) number field type
2) email validation (could be as simple as validating that entered string is firstname.lastname@example.org where zzz is a valid TLD)
3) phone number validation
4) date validation
5) custom validation
Leave "Show Details" expanded. No need to hide it. Causes problems.1 vote
Able to define location in short codes (full calendar)1 vote
Use the Event Calendar for scheduling games / practices in a league so that when displayed the users see date, start time, end time, home team, visiting team, venue. Most schedulers I know use Excel in developing their schedules, so a csv import to Event Calendar with the noted fields should accomplish the goal. It could be expanded to categorize the games into regular, tournament, practice, etc .....1 vote
As an event manager, I would like to approve attendees when the ticket count is low so that I can award a ticket to the attendee with the greatest case to attend.
Use case: For instance, our events can be used as a prerequisite to
start a chapter. If the ”interested in starting a chapter” box is checked
in registration for one registrant but not the other, I would prioritize
the one who checked it.1 vote
As an event host/manager, I would like discounted ticket options to disappear after the sale period is over, so that users don’t decide not to register because they missed the discounted tickets.
Use case: For early registration discount ticket types, we want them to disappear after they have expired so people don’t get frustrated and decide not to register for an event just because they missed the discount deadline.1 vote
As a site owner, I’d like ticket registration to have a time limit so that users aren’t able to tie up tickets in a lengthy checkout process.1 vote
Sometimes we want to be able to have a featured event be at the very top of the events calendar summary on our home page. Right now, if you click on "featured event" it will highlight it, but not put it at the top. It would be great to have another button/option to have it stick to the top of a page. For example, if you had a national conference coming up, it would be nice to have it show up first even though it is not happening chronologically for several months.1 vote
