We have released a free extension that should at least partially help with changing Google Maps to OpenStreetMaps.
You can find it here:
Please note, we do not support extensions to the same degree as our mainstream products.

You can do this with a bit of customization: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-navigation-links-above-the-calendar-in-month-view/

Thanks for changing the form (nearly) as expected. I guess you can close this idea now as finished
We can certainly see how this would be a useful feature! We’d like to see how many other folks are interested.

We do not have a specific update on this, however, we just wanted to make sure that everybody has the latest relevant information available.
1) Earlier this year, we have acquired Gigpress: http://gigpress.com/ and we have provided some basic integration with the Events Calendar
2) Although not officially supported, many of our customers have successfully integrated such fields via the Advanced Custom Fields plugin
Cheers and keep the votes coming!
Is there any update on the band management?
@Modern Tribe: we are using the Organizer fields for the event organizers as these are two different type of roles / people.
The event organizer is responsible to organize the event and the band is only there to play their songs ;-)
Are there any news on this? The request is more than one year old.
Is there any news about this feature? Would be great if it will be implemented in the next release :-)
That's a good idea! I agree, that would it make more flexible and attractive to more users and websites!
@Modern Tribe: did you had a look already at this feature? It looks like there are many people interested!

It would be great to have the list of provinces customable for each country.
For Germany we have these provinces ("Bundesland") - (Province captials in brackets):

Check out this third-party plugin, that would allow you to do exactly that: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bnfw/

We’re exploring options for the admin as part of our upcoming recurrence work.
Also, we’ve got a new knowledgebase article with a snippet that allows you to hide extra recurring event instances in your admin view. Enjoy! http://m.tri.be/195w
