Absolute must be able to duplicate event including all tickets. Add Event Start Date variable to SKU template or to Ticket name to identify ticket to event.

Thanks for your votes! We have this on our longterm roadmap for Event Tickets Plus.

Some folks have started using the free Event Tickets addon as a waitlist ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets/ ). With that plugin installed a new type of ticket becomes available: RSVP. You can add RSVPs “tickets” to sold out events. This allows users to share their email address if they are interested in attending. You can then email the list of interested users when a ticket becomes available.

With some minor wording modification you can even rename RSVP to “Waitlist” and change any other verbiage to help make this a decent wait list feature for your website.

This feature essential- suggest ability to release tickets (invite to purchase) to the first(chronological) x number of people on the waiting list, this could be more than the tickets available to be purchased on a first come first served basis, with x time (dead line) before next x number are invited. Once all waiting list invited and last deadline passed tickets open to all on website. (if x number of people is infinite and time =0 then you have option to make available to all waiting list & public ie extra capacity visible -when they're gone they're gone.) This could be auto on ticket cancellation or increase in capacity, but publicly still sold out. Ability to edit list ie if you move to top, and make one ticket available that person is sent an invite to purchase ticket. Ability to set up an event without a date with a waiting list and invite to purchase tickets to waiting list on published date.
