We’re continuing our work on a huge revamp of recurring events that would pave the way for recurring tickets. Additionally we’re working on backend improvements to tickets to support this kind of complicated functionality. Please continue to share your use cases in comments so we can strategize the scope of this long-awaited feature.Andre commented

Thanks for your votes! We have this on our longterm roadmap for Event Tickets Plus.
Some folks have started using the free Event Tickets addon as a waitlist ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets/ ). With that plugin installed a new type of ticket becomes available: RSVP. You can add RSVPs “tickets” to sold out events. This allows users to share their email address if they are interested in attending. You can then email the list of interested users when a ticket becomes available.
With some minor wording modification you can even rename RSVP to “Waitlist” and change any other verbiage to help make this a decent wait list feature for your website.Andre supported this idea ·

I would also like to have a limit added to the shortcode [tribe_events]. For example, on the homepage I can determine how many events are shown and show them all on the event page. There should be a pagination on both pages.
