Over a year ago I posted this same comment on the "backend duplicate request" quoted above, as have other people. Still waiting and think it's VERY important and "obviously useful."

I spoke too soon. We've run into a problem with the extension. While it does only show only the user's organizers and venues, it wouldn't let people change the user and organizer. So it's fine for a new event but not if making changes on an existing event.

THANKS! Works and does just what I needed. Much less confusing to our users to only see Venues and Organizers they set up and work with.

Why not have a way to only show My Venues and My Organizers on the dropdowns? Our users have no reason to ever use someone else's venue/organizer nor even see them. It's confusing and a long list they don't need. Whether it's a checkbox or a hook so we can add a function, as long as we can do it!

My client really needs this. Duplicating posts is simple with a plugin, but only if the user has access to the WordPress admin. For Community Events where the users don't and we don't want them to, I'm not sure how this could work. Our users could really use the ability to Clone an event, then edit it, even if it's just to change the date.

I’d like to be able to filter Community Events from the Events admin screen and export them as a CSV file. For example, filter by a specific Venue and then export all events.

Along similar lines, past events should be visible (or better yet, be optionally made visible with a checkbox) in the Community Events "Events Listing" page so instead of having to re-enter everything again, users can find a past event, change the dates to upcoming, and voila! Our users offer the same events periodically and it would save a lot of work.

    Thanks!
